Maybe its a cultural difference but the staff was not what I'm used to. I can't say rude because they literally dont really speak to you coming and going. The 4 star rating is absolutely overrated. The room is described as 435 sq ft. I assume thats the suite, which isn't that much of a price difference but I assumed they were all that size. First and foremost both mattresses were severely stained. Also the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever been on and I've been to a few below average hotels. When we entered the room it was very stuffy and hot. We called the front desk they said they don't use the ac during this season only the heat. Our last night it was terribly freezing and the heat didn't work either. My wife is very big on TV and there wasn't channel she could watch and the TV was so outdated that you couldn't even use a streaming service. The only good thing is that the hotel was on top of a mall. Which was very convenient. I can honestly say this is one of the worst hotels I've been to. Me and the wife decided to venture out into other parts of Italy and just stayed at other hotels overnight for some of our trip. For me personally this hotel put me in a bad mood. Kind of made me look at Italy as a not so desirable place being that it was our first impression. Outside of this hotel Italy is great. My recommendation is to absolutely pass on this hotel. We stayed at other hotels that were less but so much better. This hotel compares to a Motel 6 at best.
