When we arrived, we were met by the owner's mother who lives in the same building. She showed us the condo and explained how things work. We didn't have to use the air conditioning. As per the laundry, we had to go in the basement to do it. No drying machine. They have 2 clothes racks and brought one into the condo. She supplied the soap. The kitchen is very small and would need to get extra utensils as there are only 3 of each. The entire condo would need to be upgraded. We had to pass the swiffer and cleaned the kitchen drawers. The location was good. 5 minutes to the grocery store and shopping and 15 to 20 minutes walk to the cathedral. Even though there is an elevator, there are stairs at the entrances to get to the elevator and from the elevator to the condo. The bed was very comfortable. There is a church and often the bells ring and it is loud.

The apartment is convenient to many of Milan’s sites. It was comfortable & Francesco communicated directions well. His mother, Antonia, was delightful as she explained how everything worked. The only complaint would be the building can be noisy at times & the neighbors do like to party on the weekends. Otherwise it was a very nice place for home base while in Milan.

The most significant issue was the towels, which felt like Brillo pads. I resorted to using paper towels to dry myself after my shower. The toilet’s unusual flush system was also quite awkward. Despite these minor inconveniences, the host was very pleasant, and the bed was incredibly comfortable for a good night’s sleep for a one day stay. Thank you

The host was out of the country, but his adorable mother showed me around. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the wifi to work while I was there. Additionally, I had trouble getting the dishwasher to run and actually clean the dishes. Finally, there was no rug in the living room area, which made the apartment feel without warmth. My complaints aside, the location was fantastic, and the surrounding area was delightful.

We stayed in this apartment for 2 nights. Location was good - we could walk to everything we wanted to visit - The Last Supper, Galleria and Castello Sforzesco. Apartment was comfortable and owner was very responsive to messages sent via the Stayz app. The area felt very safe and would recommend.

Flat meet our needs! Not flashy but was well advertised & clean. Pros-'Central location', once u figure it out. Walking to Domo & Castle. Flat is in the middle of a sq block & quiet. Food, 100 ft to Oriental & very good, 350 ft to pizza around corner, again, just go. Cons- no microwave; recommend to host to get one. 15 euors from train station.Sep 15-19-25. The location is excellent--short walks to major locations, yet in a very quiet alley. We cook and were glad to have a good grocery store a few minutes' walk away. The apartment is quite basic, but no rug as depicted in the photo. No toaster--it's a panini grill. No cutting board. No bread knife. The iron was locked away and owner's mom retrieved. Needed help to find the hair dryer. We had to ask owner about how to check-in and he took more than 24 hrs to respond to our query about check-out.

Excellent location. Easy walk to many great locations, within 10-20 min. However apartment was essential only. The decor was minimal, no rugs at all, window covering a piece of fabric, sofa more like a futon (low and plain) no color at all. The bed sheets did not fit the bed and popped off at the corners. Kitchen had no microwave, dishes for 2, coffee pot and stove were not explained so took us some time to make them work (perhaps because we are from the US). In general not cozy in the slightest. The checkin lady made us stand in the entryway for 15-20 min while she used her phone, then went up stairs for a few min then came down all worried about what time will we leave on check out day! Once in the apartment she did tell us about AC, keys, elevator, how to flush toilet and a few other details.

Fabulous location and very comfortable!

We felt very much at home here. Bed was comfortable, nice quiet apartment. Great water pressure in the shower. The location was excellent and very close to the Pinoteca Brera and the fun shopping area. Also close to the Sforza castle. Recommend bringing shampoo along, as it’s the one thing not provided.

Excellent location and apartment

Brera is a fantastic central location walking distance from the centre of Milan and all attractions. We walked everywhere. The apartment is in a quiet location but close to all amenities. It has all facilities including kitchen facilities should you choose to eat at home. It's spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Francesco is an excellent host.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We loved our 3 night stay in this apartment. We were met by Antonia who showed us around the apartment and gave us some very useful and welcome tips about good restaurants and where to buy food. There is also written information in the apartment which we really appreciated. The apartment is exceptionally well ‘hosted’ which we did not always find on this trip. The bed is comfortable as is the living area and for those who stay in the summer there are screens to stop mosquitoes and other insects entering the apartment. It is in a fantastic location in the Brera District and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. There are very few negatives but just a couple of small things from our point of view. The kitchen is very small and while it has a full stove it doesn’t have a microwave (which as a traveller I appreciate) or a toaster - you must use the oven which takes a lot longer to perform simple tasks. There is very little hanging space as this is being used as a storage cupboard. Again, travellers appreciate being able to hang up their clothes to get rid of creases. Also just be aware that while there is access to a washing machine it isn’t in the apartment and that isn’t obvious in the listing.
