This was, without question, one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had and I do not say that lightly. I have never a left a negative review. That's how bad this was. The property was grossly misrepresented, poorly maintained, and completely unacceptable for the price we paid. Frankly, I’m shocked it’s even allowed to be listed.Within the first 30 minutes, my daughter became locked inside the bathroom due to a broken handle that just spun. It took me half an hour to get her out. That alone should disqualify this property from being rented.The safety issues were alarming:No way to secure the main door from the insideA second egress door with a basic, easily compromised lockMissing handle on the patio doorBroken bathroom window taped together with packing tapeI had to go out and purchase door bars just so my family could feel safe enough to sleep. That is beyond unacceptable.The condition of the unit was equally bad:Dirty throughoutDamaged drywallGlass bedroom doors with poor coverings(no privacy)Kitchen missing basic essentialsShower wouldn't stop leakingThe unit reeked of pot due to a neighboring occupant, and the smell seeped into the space.This was not a minor inconvenience, this was a pattern of neglect and a complete failure to provide a safe, livable environment.This property is not worth anywhere near what is being charged, and should not be rented out at all. The owner refuses to address the issues. Please beware!Avoid at all costs.
