The renewed rooms and facilities in an older building were well done and comfortable. Staff was always friendly and our experience was positive all the way around.

This hotel could use a remodel. Service was not very friendly and put me in a room that was already occupied. Walked in on a couple sleeping when I checked in late. No water bottles or convenient items available on site.

The location of this property was perfect for us. It is within walking distance of Beale Street and very close to Rendezvous, which had delicious barbecue. We dropped our suitcases off when we arrived; the parking garage is right around the corner but the elevator was supposedly unreliable. The garage was easy to use however; the woman at the front desk was clear in her directions and very helpful. Everything in the hotel was well maintained and we enjoyed the view from the rooftop bar. I would visit again if I returned to Memphis.

Horrible Experience
This was a horrible experience. Came in town for a funeral and I checked into The Hu Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee on 2/16/2024 and 10 minutes later after seeing the room and the hotel common areas. I checked out. I literally did not stay one night in that place. This hotel needs a renovation. The carpet was dirty, the towels in the room looked old, furniture is worn, and the walls need to be painted. The bathtub needed to be replaced and grout was old. . I had booked for two nights , and this was a terrible mistake. The pics are misleading. The property does not look the way the photos portray it. I want a refund because I had to find another hotel for the next two nights.
