The staff was A+…. the rooms on the other hand reminded me of an old speak easy.. It’s geared towards middle age, roof top PARTY from 7:00 til 11:00 PM EVERY SATURDAY… just keep that in mind if you’re going to relax… beautiful roof to view!! And again all of the staff was truly AMAZING

Rooftop with a view a hotel

This is the second time staying at the Hu. Great location for downtown activities and restaurants. Great rooftop view of the Mississippi River. There is a Rooftop party on the weekend. Free for guest. Nice oversized rooms. Friendly and helpful workers at the front desk.

The hotel stay was 4.0 . It would had a been higher but due to the rooftop been open to the public made it not accessible to the hotel guest comfortably . Other then that the cleanliness appearance of the hotel and professionalism of the staff was terrific

This hotel was very professional and friendly to us. The staff was beyond helpful since we did not know where we needed to park, etc. The room was very nice and quiet. We will definitely stay here more often!

First time in Memphis!!!! We picked the best hotel downtown and the walking distance to Beale Street was smooth and exciting. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. A time was had, good vibes only. Again and again and again!!!!!!!!!

Needed one night after being here for a family graduation and the room unfortunately was not clean and talking about pillowcases and towels were dirty and I figured it out when it was too late. The staff is nice the microwave where you go downstairs to warm up any food was disgusting. It’s not been cleaned And they have a beautiful view off the rooftop bar and they called me two hours late for a wake up call so.

My room was amazing. I should have taken a video. So spacious, a separate living room so many windows, and a huge closet. Separate show and bath. Wow!

The hotel was fine. A renovated historic building. My room could use a little bit of TLC, such as paint touch-up, cleaning upholstery, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was OK. The hot food could have had more variety--the same scrambled eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage each day. The rooftop bar was fun & had a great view of the Mississippi river. Downtown Memphis has a number of vacant and deteriorating buildings, and a number of vagrants; however, there was a visible police and security guard presence.
