The staff was friendly and welcoming and though the hotel is old, it's clean and well maintained. The gym room is small but it had enough equipment for a good, cardio workout. The breakfast was terrible; no water, no fruit, and fake eggs and sausage. Our family travels a lot and we have stayed at less expensive hotels with a hot, healthy breakfast so we were very disappointed. Overall, the hotel is fine but I won't stay at it the next time we visit Medicine Hat.

Room was ok. Air extraction in the bathroom didn't appear to be working. Elevators broken. Room keys lost their code. After doing the stairway 3 times finally access the room. Checkin guy seamed a little off and distant. Over night guy after 10 30 when we got back was very friendly

No to both. Ckearly trying toclean up an old run down hotel with limited success. Paint in windows chipped and dirty, tiles in bathroom stained, mattress lumpy and uncomfortable. Sub par all around except for service which was good for room change and getting tv to work. Not for checkout. I definitely will not stay hete again even for the price.

When we got there the elevator was broken so we could not get the room we had booked. They did squish us into a room so we could stay the night. We were there with my parents who are in their 80’s. The Hotel was recommended by the hospital that my mom was having hip replacement surgery at in two days. The elevator was repaired and we did get our suite but it was very inconvenient and made it very difficult for my parents

We requested a wheelchair accessible room and confirmed via email. There was no room available when we got there. Given the managers email and they never replied back. The restaurant was old, not wheelchair accessible, and the furniture was torn and worn out. They didn’t know how to make a Caesar and only had one option for wine, which was stale. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Terrible service to meet our needs. We requested a refund and we were ignored completely. The breakfast was also stale hard muffins, yogurt, and coffee with stale cereal. Not worth wasting your time here. Pay a bit more and go somewhere better.
