When we reported it to the desk clerk and asked that she review the camera footage from that day (to see who entered our room) she said it would have to wait until the following week for management and security to review. and asked.that I call to remind them next wk

When we got to our room and went to wash our hands in the bathroom sink, the water wouldn't go, the sink was clogged. I call the front office right away and no one answer. I went down to the lobby and spoke to the receptionist and she had a bit of an attitude and wouldn't change us to another room nor did she offer a maintenance person to go check out the sink. It was disgusting to even wash our hands in there, dark stuff came out of it when the water accumulated in the sink.

Okay, but a bit of road noise...

Room on "road" side of building. Road noise was loud in the room. Almost like windows were open. Bathroom lighting was way too dim to see anything. Bath mirror, with alternate lighting and available heat to stop fogging, was nice. Plenty of plugs for electronics. Chipped paint exposed a bit of age. Mattress choice is poor (too soft). Overall good location for our needs. Breakfast was typical, but plenty and area was kept clean. Front desk helpful and courteous. If you stay, get a room opposite the main road.

It was a nice stay at a nice property. Good location. Feels safe. Close to the outlet mall in Mercedes. Stay was nice. It was quiet. Clean. Nice room with a couch, a good bathroom and TV was good. No complaints. It’s not a fancy hotel, but if that’s what you are looking for this LaQuinta location is good. We would stay there again.
