Absolutely Lovely All Around

This was a prime location in Matera. The view from my room was fantastic and I stepped out the door right into the historic part of the town. It was a lovely room with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was perfect and the breakfast was the best I had my entire trip. I have not a single complaint. On top of that, the hosts were very helpful when I ran into some problems on the way there and was very late for check in. In fact, they upgraded my room, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely stay here again if in Matera. I loved the town and I loved the B&B!

Honeymoon stay! Thank you.

We went and stayed for one night at Le Origini on our honeymoon! We had booked the junior suite and arrived in afternoon. We checked in and shortly discovered the tap on the jacuzzi was leaking badly and water pouring unto the floor. We explained this to the lady and she agreed it wasn't acceptable and offered we move across to the suite deluxe. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The mini whirlpool was very relaxing. Double bed very comfortable to sleep on. Room had some snacks/drinks in fridge. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet. A huge variety of food. Great selection. Matera very interesting. It is very old and beautiful to see carving from the rock. Lots of modern shops also. We were pleased with our one night stay. A special night! Thank you.

The hotel is very nice and well located with views of the old city and a few mins away from the main attractions in Matera. The staff is very nice. Breakfast could be improved but I understand the limitations of the kitchen size.

Perfect location right next to the old town of Matera. Street parking close by 2-3 walk close by or private parking 10 euro per night. Rooms are brand new and clean. Got a surprise upgrade to the panoramic view room, best view of Matera. Excellent breakfast, cannot recommend more.

Bel établissement à l'entré du Sasso Barisano. Accueil chaleureux et rapide. Personnel très professionnel. Chambre propre, spacieux, avec tout les confort. Petit-déjeuner avec tout le nécessaire (y inclut produits sans gluten / lactose). Très apprécier le parking (10€ la journée) à 30mt de l’établissement, qui ce trouve en zone à trafic limité.

Eine Perle in Matera

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in dieser wunderbaren Stadt, denn dieser Ort ist immer wieder eine Reise wert. Wir waren für 2 Nächte im „Le Origini“ und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Zimmer ist im Nebengebäude untergebracht und erstreckt sich über 2 Ebenen und ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles ist supersauber, tolle Bettwäsche und flauschige Handtücher. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist der perfekte Start in den Tag: es gibt viele lokale Produkte wie Käse, Schinken, fantastisches knuspriges Brot aus Matera, Biojoghurt, frischen Obstsalat,Säfte und viele selbstgebackene Torten und Kekse und natürlich alle erdenklichen Kaffeespezialitäten. Wir möchten uns ganz besonders bei der guten Seele des Hauses Francesca und auch bei Anna und Saverio bedanken, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können dieses B&B absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

This hotel is a real gem Beautiful modern and immaculate rooms Very well appointed. Savario was great giving us loads of helpful tips and information The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Francesca and Anna were also really helpful we loved this little gem in Matera
