Wow, what a great 3 night stay at this beautiful property! An absolutely perfect location, with the most beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the Sassi! Wonderful family owned hotel, in a refurbished Medieval Tower. Very tastefully renovated with high end finishings. Great shower/water pressure, and breakfast provided. Highly recommended. Very beautiful old building/castle like. Has a magnificent view of the Sassi, Matera. Located next to the duomo, easy to walk and a lot of dining option. Breakfast is good but could add a bit fresh fruit.

This property is beautiful and very clean. Finding the location is cumbersome and requires messaging back and forth with the owner. The terrace is beautiful especially to have breakfast at, however the breakfast food itself was nothing great. It is set up on trays to be picked up at the reception. They should invest in serving proper breakfast for a enjoyable experience. There was also no one around to ask questions or request something.

The property is fabulous and one of a kind. The host was extremely knowledgeable about Matera and spent considerable time suggesting sites we should see and places to eat. The breakfast suggestion was excellent and was included in the price of our stay. I would highly recommend this as an ideal place to stay while visiting Matera.
