Wonderful week at Anglers Cove

Great location! Marina next door for fishing/boating excursions, a Tiki Bar virtually on the premises, and shopping a short drive away. We found the "regular" winter renters to be very friendly. Nice sized pools allowing for lap swimming at specific times in the morning. Huge, gorgeous kitchen - could use either a new set of cutlery or a decent knife sharpener. Other than that, well-stocked and LOTS of storage space. We didn't give an "Excellent" review on cleanliness due to the floor. Although the beautiful tile floor looked clean, after walking barefoot throughout the day, my feet were filthy. However, that was easily rectified by a quick wash in the walk-in shower. We also didn't give "Accuracy" an "Excellent" rating as although advertised as a king bed, it is actually 2 twin mattresses together on a king frame - that is not a king. It has the tell-tale "hump" in the middle but even more so with the edges of the mattresses butting against each other. The washer/dryer is indeed that - one machine that washes, then dries. It takes several hours to finish one, small load. Fortunately, there is a laundry room between each building. I would wash in the unit and then take to the laundry room to use the dryers. One suggestion for the property management: I am guessing that renters are primarily vacationers as were we. The bedroom, although it does have vertical blinds, blackout or room darkening curtains would be a plus. Sunrise is a bit earlier in southern Florida! (That prevented us from sleeping in; however, it did get us up and outside to enjoy that sunshine!!) Although this review does contain some negatives, we would consider them minor, and none would prevent us from renting here again. Thank you for a wonderful week!

The property was very very nice. If I owned it I would change the following: The white towels left a little to be desired. The need to be changed. The pillows very thin. The cutlery was rusted as well as the can opener. In fact the can opener didn't work. These are very small things but as a rental I would make sure they were perfect. The place was very clean and all of the appliances were new as well as the two TV sets.

Comfortable condo

Clean, fresh, up-to-date condo in very nice complex. Beach chairs & beach umbrella were serviceable although nothing special. The umbrella is very flimsy and we really couldn’t use it because of the wind on the beach. Pool and jacuzzi were big enough to accommodate the number of guests staying at the resort. Overall, very enjoyable.
