Tucked away in the lush forests of Maple Falls, Washington, and just minutes from the scenic shores of Silver Lake Park, Red Mountain Lodge is a 6,500-square-foot mountain escape designed for relaxation, recreation, and reconnection. Sprawling across 20 private acres with its own hiking trails and expansive lawn, this seven-bedroom, four-bathroom estate is the perfect backdrop for unforgettable getaways with family and friends.

- 4 King Bedrooms (primary bedroom on ground floor) – spacious and serene, with forested views and luxury linens
- 2 Queen Bedrooms (one queen on ground floor) – styled with comfort and charm
- 1 Double Twin XL Bedroom (upstairs) – ideal for kids or additional guests

Location Highlights
Located just a short drive from Silver Lake Park, guests can enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming, and picnicking at the lake. Mount Baker and the surrounding wilderness also offer seasonal activities like hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and breathtaking alpine views. The charming town of Maple Falls provides local flavor with cafes, general stores, and nearby access to the Mount Baker Scenic Byway.

Important Notes:

Nature:  This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.

Technology: WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV and cellular service are not available.  The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. This home has starlink wifi

**Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy:  We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.

Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.

Groceries:  Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions.

Pet Policy: DOGS only  permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 2 dogs allowed @ $35/per night

Pet Rules:

We love pets and are glad that you're bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person's home.
1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in.
2. Maximum 2 Dogs allowed (no cats)
3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions)
4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old.
5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever or while you are away from the home.
7. Any damage caused by pets will incur charges for repair or replacement of structures or furnishings and must be paid immediately.
8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors.
9. All guests agree to adhere to rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances.
10. Any fines or violations will be charged to the guest.
