There are limited hotels in central Mao-ping. That said, you can always stay in one of the 5 options less than 30 kilometres away.
Some decent ones are the Oriental Pearl Grand Hotel and Haijin Business Hotel.

Great staff, lovely spacious room with high ceilings, comfortable bed with nice pillows and just right doona. Breakfast was perfect, choices from Chinese to western style . There is a coffee bar downstairs that serves coffe of course plus differing alcoholic drinks and light snacks Altogether a vary nice stay and would recommend for anyone wanting a great place to stay.
