We were quite lucky to find a room after several attempts as we were traveling. Price was fair. Quaint cabin like atmosphere. Warm welcome with an invite to join others for campfire and s’mores. We declined as I’m allergic to camp smoke and tired from our long drive. Beds were quite comfortable. We actually slept in longer than expected. It was everything we needed and more than we anticipated. Good coffee in both the room and lobby. 👍 thanks! We will stay again the next trip to the area.

Pleasant overnight

The Holiday Motel is a very nice option when traveling through the UP. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They are pet-friendly and have a nice location with an area to walk your dog. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. We enjoyed a drink and dinner at a nearby restaurant and took our dog for a beautiful morning walk on the Manistique boardwalk, only minutes away.

Heavenly Lodgings near Lake Michigan

Without a doubt the most gracious and hospitable manager of a hotel I have ever met. Hotel extremely clean and well cared for. We will be coming back for sure.

We did a short stay, checked in late and left early. Staff was easy to work with and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. They even called us to say we left an article of clothing after we checked out so we could go back and pick it up.

Upon check in Ron was very helpful about sites to visit in the area. The room was convenient, clean and just what we were looking for in our last night in the UP on an 8 night driving tour. A nice stay in Manistique.

Ive probably only stayed at about a handful kf motels in my whole life, always choosing to stay at hotels. But this was a last minute trip on a holiday weekend with very few places having availability. Reviews were good here so thought i would give it a try. Was presently surprised how nice it was. Older motel that has been recently updated. Bathroom had newer hardware. Room had new windows, you could tell the owner put money into fixing up the motel. The owner was super nice checking us in and out the next morning. They had coffee, fruit and bars in the lobby in the morning. Bed in the room was a little hard for us but i know everyone has there own preferences when it comes to beds. Towels were a bit threadbare so i would recommend thise get updated soon. Room was clean and we felt very safe. There was a big storm that knocked out power in the middle of the night so the internet was out in town, but nothing he could have done about that. Overall if i ever come back to this area i will stay here again and will recommend to others.

Great option!

It is a beautiful room, very nice, peaceful, clean. The bed was very soft, however, which made for a difficult night sleeping for us as a couple who need a firmer sleep to not wake up with back aches.

Nicely upgraded rooms with traditional "up north" feel. Very clean and comfortable. Super nice owner, coffee and healthy snacks in the morning to start us off right.
