Love love this hotel. It’s the only place I stay when traveling to Escanaba. The beds are marvelous and the renovations are beautiful.

This is the first time I have stayed here since the big remodel and I was pretty happy with what they have done to this motel. Everything was in nice condition and the staff were very helpful. My only negative is the food, although good, was a bit pricey.

Wonderful but heater noisy.

The modern rooms were wonderful. However, the heater just kept running and rattling. I still think it was a wonderful stay.

When the new section was recently built, I don't think they took into consideration how to optimize for handicapped people. All floors are accessible by elevator, which is good, but the rooms themselves could have been laid out more effectively. There was way too much wasted space in the middle of the floor of the handicapped room. They could have easily added a table and a couple of chairs so that handicapped people would have another option. The side of the bed closest to the Windows was entirely too narrow for a walker or wheelchair. The bed needed to be moved a couple of feet to the left to make it easier to get in and out for people who have mobility issues. Since Biggby Coffee was added, the handicap parking situation has become much more difficult, especially near the check-in area and parking for the restaurant.

We had an amazing view of the lake. The room was beautiful and very clean. The onsite restaurant was the best food I have ever had! The onsite coffee shop had a ton of options. The pool area was average at best.
