Just 3 minutes from the sandy beach, this apartment for 5 people is part of a newly built condominium of 4 apartments. Each apartment has its own entrance for privacy. This 1st-floor flat has a private balcony with sea views. It is the ideal spot for a family or friends who want to enjoy the beautiful Salento coast.

The airy living/dining room has French windows on either side, allowing the sea breeze to pass through the apartment. It is furnished with a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. The new open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washing machine.

The balcony at the front of the apartment is partially shaded and acts as an extension of the living/dining room. There is a large swing seat and dining table for meals al fresco.

Location
The apartment is on the edge of the resort town of San Pietro in Bevangna. The town has a long, sandy beach, with crystal clear sea. The sea is so clear that when the waters are calm you can see the 23 marble Greek sarcophagi that sunk off the coast in the 3rd century AD. The centre of the town, which has many bars and restaurants, is just a 5-minute drive.

The ancient town of Manduria (15 minutes) makes a great day out. Dating back to before 350BCE, the town has belonged to the ancient Greeks, Romans, Saracens and Normans. Its winding lanes and Baroque piazza show its fascinating history.

The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (30 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

The closest airport is at Brindisi, 1 hour 10 minutes away by car.
