Crawling with ants.
Do not stay at this hotel. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation, but they let me in anyway. The room they gave me had ants crawling all over the bed. They made a half-hearted attempt to spray the floor, but they ran out of bug spray. I told them I would make it work because it was almost midnight and I had just arrived from the US. I sent the staff out of the room and actually sprayed the bedsheets with insect repellent! It worked, as I was able to sleep (in my clothes) and the ants stayed away. The AC was good enough, but there is no hot water and they would not provide any towels, even when I asked for them. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. For less, stay at Hotel Cisneros in Managua, which is great.
