Good but could be so much better
The location is excellent. Very close to lots of wonderful restaurants and the main shopping street. Unfortunately there is building work going on to buildings away which is very loud especially in the morning after 8 am. So do not expect a long lie in! Communication with InMalaga the Company who run the property was spasmodic. We were not given the original or correct email by Franc to begin with so when we emailed him with problems there was no response. We had to go to see him as he did not answer any phone calls and he gave us his own email address which allowed us to get a new kettle after two weeks of our three weeks stay. No one had checked the lightbulbs before we moved in and several did not work and it took us nine days before they replaced. I get the feeling that there is not an awful lot of interest in managing this property to the best that it could be.. For a self catering apartment it was not very well equipped. These people could learn a lot from those who own independent properties. There was no welcoming pack. The utensils were basic and the frying pan looked as if somebody had used it to hit somebody else! The lady who clean the property the second week has to be complimented as she was excellent and much better than the cleaner from the first week. Frank was a nice person and I think he wanted to help but possibly his mind was somewhere else most of the time. It is a basic apartment with sheets that just fit the bed and nothing more. Towels are very basic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was very good too although the bathroom is very small and quite dark. The bedroom also is very dark and the main light is worse than useless. as I said in the title it is a great location but expensive for what it is. It could simply be so much better if someone could just look after it a little better-someone who cared. For example I had to remove about 10 cacti before I could open the windows on the main balcony as I kept getting stung every time I went near the windows. there is no need for these plants in the apartment.
