Lövestad Holiday Packages

Its a great location. The public areas are sociable. Some of the staff are friendly. But room so small i hit my head and shoulder on the wall lamp every time i get out of bed at night; walls very dirty; and despite asking at reception I struggle to get them to clean the room before 5pm several days. On Friday i had to ask at 6pm for the room to be cleaned even though it had been empty since12.30. The only reason i was there so late was because the safe has malfunctioned three times and i was there getting it fixed.. I have had to ask for fresh towels as they forgot to replace them. The room key has failed. I have been waiting for a week for the in room fitness kit they offer, asking every day (i dont think they have any although they offer it). I tried the gym but it is very dark and gloomy. I have about 6 inches width of hanging space in the room and no space to put suitcases. Today i went to reception at 2pm to ask if they could have the room cleaned before 3pm as i wished to shower and rest after that (I had been out of the room since 9am providing plenty of time for cleaning). She said she would call housekeeping and make sure it was finished by 3pm. At 3pm i was still waiting in the room for cleaning unable to start my shower, and then the cleaners finally arrived, leaving me very little time to shower and change before heading out again, then my 3 friends checked in same rate and all of them have much larger rooms with much more hanging space. Very disappointing.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful room., good location fairly near the central station, although you will have to drag your cases over cobblestones between them. Beware the outdoor music venue straight across the road, check the events schedule of their website for concerts. I had a room at the back so it wasn’t so bad but it is loud in the hallways. If there is a concert on I strongly advise asking for a back room.
