Fantastic welcome from front of house staff. Room was clean and enjoyable. Great location near a rail station and close to most sights and sounds. Highly recommend the Hotelo Lyon Ainay for your next stay - they could not have been more helpful with guidance and care of guests.

A good budget option right across from the bus, tram and metro hub. After a late-night check-in we were offered and spent a night in a first-floor "annex" room off the lobby of an adjacent apartment/office building. The room was claustrophobic, had no view, a drop ceiling, and water damaged molding. After asking to move to the main hotel the next day we were quite pleased with the room in the main hotel which featured the ambiance one would expect from an intimate French hotel (floor-to-ceiling windows, carpeted stairs, and a decorated room). Advice: Do not stay in the "annex" rooms next door to the hotel.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to France in terms of hotels. The front desk staff was outstanding -- super friendly and always willing to help with anything. We only had a couple of nights in Lyon, but we wished we could have taken the Hotelo Lyon Ainay with us for our entire trip. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel is simple but excellent. Very friendly staff, the room was small but very clean and had all the basics (towels for all of us, shower gel/shampoo, soap, hair dryer, etc.). The beds were comfortable, and despite being near a busy street, the place was quiet and we slept very well. It was easy to walk to old Lyon, and the staff let us keep our luggage at the hotel free of charge after we checked out and before we were ready to leave the city.

Great location (very close to the train station and bus terminal), excellent staff, great breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained. The room was a little warm when the weather was very hot but overall we had a fantastic stay here and would look to return.

Very convenient to the Perrache train station which is what we wanted. Didn’t feel like the safest area, especially the bus station that you need to walk through to get to the train station. Hotel was inexpensive, clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was good value for money.
