The hotel is a good place to stay overnight on the way to the mountains. But if you want to explore the city of Lyon, it is far from the cultural centre and all the activities. Other than that the room was clean the beds were great and the breakfast just right!! I was impressed by the juice MN machine with healthy choices like carrots cucumbers, oranges, ginger etc.

A lovely weekend

We spent a weekend in Lyon at the Novotel and it was a lovely, relaxing stay. The car park was easily accessed and the room was clean and tidy. The staff were all very helpful. The food in the hotel was also very good.

Booked online 5mins before arriving, the hotel sent me directions to the hotels car park immediately. The carpark area for the hotel is very secure. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in for our two week trip in France. The hotel was connected to an outdoor shopping mall with lots of places to eat and enjoy. The hotel itself was spacious, clean and child/toddler friendly. They had a play area for children and the manager even gave my son some soft toys to play with. The restaurant food and bar were excellent. And finally the view of the Saone from our room was perfect.
