This was a fine and inexpensive property to use while visiting downtown Lynchburg. The hotel is quite dated, and some of it appears to be closed or undergoing construction. Nevertheless, the price point and the location are selling points, and I would certainly stay there again for quick visits to Lynchburg.

Lynchburg Grand was a decent place to stay for a night. I know they are doing some renovations, so there was no continental breakfast. Most of the ice machines were out of order. We didnt need ice but im sure some did and there was only 2 floors the machines worked. The staff were all very nice and our room was very clean. We would stay here again if its only for a night or two.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was really clean and we heard NOTHING!! No one yelling down the halls, no doors slamming nor heard any noise from outside. I’ll definitely use them again.

We couldn’t get in to the room we were first assigned due to the card reader not working properly. The hotel is very worn down and not very clean. It’s an older property but obvious they have allowed it to age poorly instead of trying to maintain it. The beds were uncomfortable and the walls and doors are incredibly thin. You can hear everything there’s no privacy. The only positive was the young guy working the front desk that checked us out, he was warm and friendly.

There was no breakfast available. The rooms are not cleaned every day. The property is still nice but dated. My room was not available and they moved me to another room. I kind of felt like a second class citizen because I booked through a “third party” instead of the hotel. Not sure if I would return because of that.
