Luxor Beachfront Accommodation

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing. Upon arrival, I waited ~45 minutes for check-in with no assistance and had to follow up myself, followed by another delay to access my room. As I work online, reliable Wi-Fi is essential; unfortunately, it was inconsistent despite assurances. That evening, a neighboring guest knocked aggressively through a shared door to complain, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. The next morning, housekeeping mistakenly asked me to check out. While the manager apologized and offered an upgrade, the experience was already impacted. Even after moving, poor sound insulation meant constant noise (voices, a crying baby, phones). I chose this hotel for comfort and tranquility, especially to balance work and recovery after a medical situation. This was not met. I appreciate the efforts made, but given the disruptions, a goodwill gesture would be appropriate.

This is a 3 star hotel NOT a 4 star as rated. Not much variety of food during breakfast or dinner, repeated items. Rooms are basic and small. There is no internet available in the rooms, which was very annoying. The only positive thing l can say about this hotel, is that our room had a Nile view. Staff there could hardly speak English.
