City hotel, i expect the drunks, the inconsiderate drivers revving engines and the refuse trucks, but…In a quiet side road, unfortunately taxi drivers and food delivery bikes park outside for their next job and loudly talk across the road to each other. Fixed using earplugs. But what cannot be fixed is the club/pub on ground floor, noisy barstools constantly scraping across a hard floor, then at 3:30am the place is cleared, cleaned and tidied for 30 minutes and impossible to sleep.

The hotel bldg is a bit dated. You can hear the people chatting in the street until early morning. Footsteps from the upper floors are annoying specially past midnight. The good thing about this hotel is must the location.

Bar/club Downstairs could hear everything. This was despite being on one of the top floors. Paper thin walls between rooms, could hear everything from the neighbours. Great location but not worth staying there due to all the other faults.

Great hotel and location right next to the train station. The only downside was that they weren't staffed over the winter so we had to check in at a different hotel, but it wasn't a big inconvenience.

Friendly staff, fuss free check out and very near to the main train station. There is a nespresso coffee maker provided besides the kettle to amke tea. Highly recommended.

Dated hotel and rooms need TLC, but great value for price and location. Check in is at a nearby hotel, but very friendly staff. Very close to Lucerne Station. Only concern is there are bars down below and people hung out on the street and got so loud until 2AM on the weekdays and 4AM on a Saturday we were there, hence there was earplugs provided in the room.

This property is excellent and affordable. It’s in a great location convenient to the train station and old town. There is an awesome local bar downstairs called Franky and also close for an easy quick bite there is a pizza restaurant The room was very clean and great Swiss design. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay!

You have to walk to the Monopol sister property reception depending on the time of arrival/to resolve some issue. No AC in some rooms ; they told me they are not required to provide it because it’s a 3 star. I booked thru Expedia, who said there was AC. I was charged extra for an additional bed, which was more like a stretcher.

The internet was very spotty. I had to re-log in at least 10 times in 24 hours because it kept kicking me off. Otherwise it was great. The staff was helpful and the location was great.
