This is a great spot and very comfortable. The stairs are a little odd, but breakfast was wonderful and the location is amazing.

The rooms are not big, but they are efficient, like everything else in Switzerland. Well laid out and comfortable. The hotel itself is in a good area with shopping and dining nearby and a relatively short walk from the train station. Highly recommend.

Charming little hotel just a few steps back from the river. Room and bathroom was fairly small but well appointed and nicely finisher with a lovely terrace overlooking the rooftops. Area was very central, less than a 10 minute walk from the main station but quite after 11 at night. Staff at reception were great.

The hotel is located in a great spot to walk along the river and all of the waterfront dining. It is also a short walk from the train station. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, simple but tasty and the coffee was amazing. There is no AC but it was explained to us that it is not allowed to install it in a historic building. We opened the windows at night and there was a ceiling fan. There is a restaurant onsite and one next door and you get a 10% discount if you eat at those places. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The location was very convenient. The rooms were small with no A/C. We had to open the windows to cool down the room, so we heard people from the resteraunts below, workers all night. Then the town bells would ring evey hour. Didnt get much sleep.

The hotel was extremely poor. The toilet lid was falling off, the room has no AC and was hot. The bathroom was so small one person can barely stand inside and you have to move around inside to even shut the door. The shower had what looked like black mold growing on the grout in the shower. I guess they never do any proper deep cleaning here. The room was labeled as "city view" and boy was it a great view of the side of the building next to us. Nothing is better than false advertising. We tried to open the window because it was to hot inside but had nothing but noise from drunks outside and than a street sweeper woke us again at 545am. To top it off the fire alarm decided to start going off in the morning while we were trying to get ready. It was a false alarm that kept popping in for about 5 minutes until they could figure out how to silence it. Stay clear of this hotel, it was way to expensive for what you get. The owners dont seem to upkeep it properly and use false advertising to make the rooms seem much better than they are. We are jumping around Switzerland for a week and luckily we only got stuck with this hotel for one night. Buyer beware. Stay clear of here.

The stated check-in time is 2pm so we walked around and came back to check in at 2:45 thinking it would be ready but my room wasn’t ready until about 3:15. The room itself is fine, it’s simple and clean, there is a mini fridge, coffee machine, bottles for water etc. The bathroom and shower as others have mentioned are beyond tiny but the photos do a good job capturing that. The worst part about this property though is the quality of the bed. I wasn’t able to sleep the first night because of how uncomfortable it was and I woke up that morning with a significant back ache (I’m in my early 30s and have never had this happen before). The staff is friendly and did help with an extra comforter when I asked for anything to make the bed better. To be fair, I was here in a busy time in Lucerne but my rate vs what I got was a bit absurd, I paid luxury hotel prices for a basic room that was not comfortable.

Very nice place with very decent rooms for the price, loved the location! Walkable from main train station and to almost anything of interest! Very friendly staff and very nice breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms not too big but ok to be comfortable. I recommend it.

Great location Rooms are incredibly small. Bathroom was about 5x5. We paid in full over 3 months ago and heard at least twice of people being “upgraded”. Why not upgrade the people who paid in advance???
