To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. The maintenance of the place is shocking and it's dirty. None of the linen smelled fresh. The shower room is shoe horned into the under stairs area with barely enough room to swing a cat. On the plus side, there enough kitchen utensils, pot/pans, plates etc. and there is a washing machine and dishwasher. I would never stay here again; I would rather drive the 200 miles home.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!
