The room was decent and is your standard hotel room. Nothing that was great but nothing that was bad from first appearances of the room. The bed was super soft and very mushy which is an uncomfortable sleep to me for those who like soft beds, this would be a great hotel.
The low rating for the hotel on this trip is due to the fact that in the morning, my wife and I woke up to our toilet and bathtub, filled with sewage water from the rooms above us. It had also spilled out onto the floor. We discovered this when my wife went to use the bathroom this morning and was curious why her feet were wet and then got very grossed out. We called the front desk, informed them of the issue and they said that they will have maintenance work on it where the hotel could have done better was to actually have somebody come to our room and talk to us, but that never occurred. After not hearing anything. I had to go to the front desk and speak to the staff myself which put me in a less than desirable mood. They gave us another room so we could get cleaned up as we were checking out however, when we went to that room, there was hotel staff working in that room and saying we could not use that room. We went back to the front desk, all other rooms were filled and so we had no other choices my wife changed in the gym and then we left.
The staff was apologetic and compensated us for the valet, some food charges and our resort fee, which made things somewhat OK.
