Great property just outside of Long Beach. Quiet. Private. Undergoing renovations. Room could have been swept a bit better and more towels. Creaky floors made upstairs neighbors very noticeable.

One of the main reasons I decided to stay there was because of the pool in the hot tub and the heater was broken in the pool so I wasn't able to use it. My two grandkids did anyway and the window blind in the kitchen living room area would not close so we didn't have complete privacy and I had two kids sleeping in there, one on a hide, a bed and one on a Murphy bed.

Musty and old

This place has great potential, but the building is in disrepair. The grounds and beach access are great. The room is the worse I've evrr stayed in. Carpets look and felt like they haven't been cleaned in a year and the room smelled musty. Furniture is old and beat up. Bathroom door was coming apart from the moisture and didn't close. Positives. The people at the front desk are very kind, and the free bike rentals are a plus. The discovery trail running along the beach is awesome!

Nice family and dog friendly condos right on the beach. Great breakfast included. Nice indoor pool. Charcoal and propane barbecues and fire pits available right out your door if you stay at a floor unit. Our unit was nicely remodeled. 5 minutes to shopping, arcade, go carts and restaurants.

Had a nice two night stay over the weekend. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great. Only thing is the bar or chain door lock on our room was missing leaving only a lever handle that simultaneously unlocked and opened the door and a toddler just the right height. It was also very noisy on the door side when others were outside it.

While we appreciated the pet friendly aspect of this hotel, we had quite a few short comings. First, our room was incredibly outdated compared to online pictures, had a bit of a smell, especially in the bathroom. The screen door on the sliding door was broken off and we were told it wouldn't be fixed but that we could use a magnetic mesh cover, which barely covered the door. When asked for house keeping, we had to remind the front desk for this service late into the afternoon. The location of this hotel to the beach is incredibly convenient, and the open space in the back to play and run around is ideal for those with children and pets. Our stay was fine, but I'm not sure we will ever return...

This is a pros and cons property: Pros: GREAT staff. They were perfect. The property was easy to navigate, the parking was easy and we had a ground floor with a slider for the dogs. All perfect. Oh, and it's a smart TV so we were able to watch Netflix. Cons: No AC. It wasn't too hot and there is a fan so we were okay, but AC would have been better. The beds could use a mattress topper to make them a little softer. They weren't awful, but they could be better. And finally, it's quite a walk to the actual beach. It seems close, but it's a pretty good jaunt. For the price and the last minute booking it served it's purpose well.
