Just unfortunately our friend had a rat in her room one night which was a bit alarming(!) and saw one at the bar on another night.
The property is a lovely resort on a nice beach with a great spa and 3 pools. Excellent value for money.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. BUT the room needs a FAN, hate to think what it is like in summer. And house keeping put a doona on the bed, so hot! Had to remove it, a LIGHT blanket would of been much better.

Qunci Villas.....Tranquility and Paradise
Pros:Loaction, location location was perfect, situated right on the beach with three awesome infinity pools. Awesome staff on hand.
Cons:I found surcharges 21% a bit much but it's throughout Bali, which can be expensive when eating at a top class hotel, maybe a free shuttle to Sengiggi
Location:Situated on the beach very romantic, i walked into the town centre of Sengiggi which took me about 25 minutes ( but i love to walk and see the area)
On arrival, i was early however the staff were very friendly and introduced themselves, they took my luggage and then gave me refreshments and showed me around the resort where i relaxed at one of the three pool areas, the staff were at hand for anything you needed until my room was ready where my luggage was already placed in my room.
There are three restaurants to choose from which had excellent choices on the menu, i found the Balinese/Asian Restaurant the best, the others were a Mediterranean and a Tapas & Bar, still great service though. I stayed 5 days but will definitely be back to stay a lot longer, the friendly staff also have a lot to add to this resort i struck up some good conversations with them they were always courteous including the room service staff. The resort also do a couple of special themed evenings at the main restaurant area (Asian Restaurant) which is definitely worth going to, i visited the town of Sengiggi and i'd say the resort food would be hard pushed to be beaten. I loved my breakfast none of the buffets style food other places serve it was a la carte with a variety of choices from every continent style of breakfast i could think of, however you are also bought a small breakfast platter of fresh fruit and juice.
I travelled alone and would return myself it's ideal for couples for that romantic getaway (or proposal :-) ) during my stay there was a wedding and a few couples had private meals on the grounds in front of the sunset.

Awesome place we absolutely loved it
We loved it great hotel on the beach. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff, beautiful pool, great food and the massages at the quinci spa were to die for. Highly recommended we will be back again next year!!
