Great Hotel

Hands down the team at the hotel are what make this place special. The doorman/concierge was such a nice chap and so kind to me. I received a warm welcome upon check in and check out, but I found my room and particularly the bathroom to be quite 'tired' and in need of some 'TLC'. An odd set up with what appeared to be a heavy screen panel rather than a curtain which seemed to be off its rails so wouldn't close out the bright lights from outside. Note that a 'city view' room comes with the possibility of noise all night from outside, due to thin windows. I would stay again though due to the location and kindness of the team there.

Beautiful hotel gorgeous food. The only downfall was that we were put in a room on the 3rd floor (beautiful room) which was facing a pub over the road and the music and shouting and singing from the pub lasted until about 3am in the morning, so we didn’t get much sleep. Overall stay was really lovely.

An Unforgettable Stay – Pure Luxury!

What an incredible place to stay—the photos truly don’t do it justice! My husband and I booked an upgraded room, but from the moment we arrived, we were treated to an exceptional experience. Check-in was seamless, with friendly and welcoming staff. The valet parking was a fantastic touch, making everything effortless. To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to the Penthouse Suite for the night—what an absolute treat! The suite was breath taking, featuring a private hot tub, a stylish lounge and bar area, a massive bedroom, and a stunning bathroom complete with a separate bath (with a TV!), a rain shower, and even a steam room. It truly felt like a night of pure luxury—we couldn’t have asked for more! The food and drinks were absolutely perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were back in the originally booked room for the 2nd night (Penthouse was booked out) but we were not disappointed with this room either, as it was still lovely. The beds were very comfy too. If we find ourselves in Southport again, we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for a truly unforgettable stay!

Nice room but terrible view so closed the blind. Clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Bar not horrendous prices like others we have stayed in southport. Bathroom getting in and out of bath for shower was very tight with the radiator so have to be extra careful not to accidentally brush it when undressed and burn.
