Everything was great. The hotel was clean, the property was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I only have 4 complaints. First, when we arrived at our room with our bags we discovered the room was not clean, it was filthy from the previous occupant. How hard is it to know which rooms are clean and which ones are not? Second, when we went to check-out at 9pm, because we like to travel at night, we were told we couldn't check-out until morning. Well, my response was "that's too bad because we are leaving." The counter attendant was very quick and helpful to remedy the problem and told us she would check us out in the morning and email us the receipt. That was great. Now, for $500 I would expect not to have these issues. Third, when checking in hotel staff informed me I couldn't get the military discount because I booked through Expedia. On the web site it said I had to check with the hotel upon check-in. Again, I was told I didn't qualify because I booked through Expedia. And 4th, I was informed I could get a better rate by booking directly with the hotel. What a let down by Expedia. I am very disappointed about my booking experience with Expedia. Again, for the amount I paid I expected better.

OK but needs updates

Had to ask for another room due to mold in the bathroom being painted over. My new room had no issues and was very clean. These issues should be addressed instead of covered up, especially when dealing with black mold.

10/10 Experience!! The property has been maintained well and the rooms are clean and spacious. Beds were super high and comfy! Clean hallways! Good breakfast and complimentary water and coffee in the lobby! Check was easy! I cannot say enough good things about this experience at the hotel.

Maintenance, what a concept!

Stayed at several Holiday Inn Express sites. Common theme was that maintenance was needed. Stuck faucets, loose toilet seats, towel bars crooked, slow drains, shower faucets that couldn't be adjusted from outside, shower doors stuck, hard to close doors, shower heads that had painful needle sprays.

I wasn’t expecting luxury given the location and price, but unfortunately, my stay was worse than expected. The room was spacious, which was a plus, but it wasn’t clean — surfaces felt dusty, and the overall upkeep left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was very dated and could really use a renovation. On a positive note, the staff was kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the breakfast was quite poor — flavorless and unappetizing, even for a basic spread. If cleanliness and a decent breakfast matter to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere, even at a similar price point.

This hotel needs some attention. Bugs in the room, breakfast equipment not working, having to reset the keys multiple times. Was not a good experience and we checked out early.
