Awesome historic experience!
We loved it! Quiet, although it wasn't too busy. I can see it being noisy (old building) if more people were around, but honestly, that's part of the charm of an old hotel like this! We loved the history, the room, everything really. Great price, too.

Loved the charm of the inn. Staff was very pleasant. Could use a bathroom renovation. Unfortunately they no longer have a restaurant. The common room with the pub tables on the main floor would make a great little bar for guests.

Ok for the price but they really need to work on basic maintenance issues. Would not expect much more from a 175 year old property that is not being taken care of good as it could be. Would not stay here again.

Interesting and well cared-for historic building. There were some areas that could be improved, such as the bathroom (plastic tub slippery w/ no bathmat nor safety bar; water did not heat beyond lukewarm, etc). I currently have a mobility issue but found no assistance (our room was three flights up.). A chair in the bedroom would have been helpful as well.
