Hi Anonymous, Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback- we take great pride in providing our guests with the best experience and your feedback is imperative to this process! Our room fridges come standard with milk for tea and coffee and bottled water. I'm sorry the complimentary water was not present in your fridge, I will follow this up with our housekeeping team. Yes, our restaurant has been closed for an entire year. Initially due to covid restrictions, but we have been trying to find a chef since July 2020 with no success. There is an extremely high shortage of chef's in the Northern Rivers...but, we have finally secured one to start next week! Thank goodness!! He comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and will fit into our team perfectly! It will mean the restaurant will be open 4 nights a week and you will certainly not have an issue getting a beer! In regards to the showers...we are half way through replacing all of them throughout the entire motel. The room you were in must have been in the half that have not been replaced yet, so I am sorry you were not satisified with the one in your room. If you could provide your name or room number to me, I can get it rectified ASAP. I agree, the food at The Bounty is great, but now that our extremely difficult year is (hopefully) over and we are finally able to re-open our restaurant- our guests can enjoy dining here or in our beautiful gardens now also. Hi there, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry the restaurant wasn't open while you were here. We did start opening it for breakfast everyday in January and 6 nights for dinner (closed Sunday night). Hopefully that will continue when social distancing is over!
