Very difficult to get to. Driver finally stopped and we rolled luggage several blocks up steep hill. Otherwise, nice lobby /courtyard. Rooms small cramped, and not great. Breakfast fair. No restaurant. Could be very nice, but not.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations!! The conceirge went above and beyond her duties to make our stay enjoyable. The room the breakfast buffet the service all was top notch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy Lisbon!

The staff treated me like family - they assisted with taxi services - information abt Lisbon and with the golf cart when I could not climb back up to the hotel - it was a great location and I would go back to this hotel

Breakfast was a great start to the day. Good selection of foods and coffee, tea, etc. Lovely hotel, awesome location overlooking the castle. Room comfortable and clean. And peacocks! Would definitely recommend and stay here again. It is up the hill in the historic area, so best for those who like to walk.

This is the most magical place to stay! The location is connected to San Jorge Castle - once it was the kitchen for the castle! The tile work, bright color, peacocks, courtyard…everything was perfection. The staff is so warm and friendly. They are there for whatever you might need.

As close to staying in the castle as you can get!

This amazing hotel is a former wing of the actual castle! The staff were lovely and very helpful, the breakfast and the lounge area/treats were awesome, and it's in a great spot! Expect to walk if you stay here, it's easy enough to get to but all up hill. We loved the location and history here

The property was so charming and historic. The hospitality was impeccable. Always refreshments and snacks available. The only down side was the location. Only certain taxis were able to enter that area.
