Chalet Moulin II is the middle chalet in a trio of three on the Route du Front de Neige in Les Gets, and it is the one that ties the whole building together. A connecting door on the third floor opens directly into Chalet Moulin III, turning two separate homes into one shared space for up to sixteen guests. For families travelling together, or friends who want their own rooms but a communal evening, this connection makes all the difference.
The chalet itself is generous: four bedrooms and four bathrooms (three ensuite), with interiors built from reclaimed wood in its natural, untreated state. The south-facing living area is filled with light from morning through to early afternoon, and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a raclette grill for eight.
Outside, a private jacuzzi and barbecue sit in the garden. In summer, outdoor furniture is set up for dining. There is a private ski locker with boot heaters in the garage area, which is directly connected to the chalet. Two indoor parking spots are included.
The Perrières ski lift is a five-minute walk away, and the free shuttle bus stops just two minutes from the door. The centre of Les Gets is ten minutes on foot, with restaurants, shops, and the ski school close by. Beyond the connection to Moulin III, Chalet Moulin I sits on the other side, meaning all three chalets together can host up to twenty-four guests under the same roof.
Home truths:
- The wood throughout the chalet has been kept in a raw condition, so you may notice the occasional splinter.
- Heating is centralised and underfloor; it cannot be adjusted directly by guests, but our on-the-ground team is available to help.
- The garage spots are slightly tight, but rest assured, a Range Rover will still fit with careful maneuvering!
