Affordable and nice place to stay in Lake Placid. 10min walk from Mirror Lake. Only negative point was the lack of heating, but space heaters were provided in the rooms. There was a fridge and a microwave too. The parking is shared with the on-site restaurant, so it may take some time to get a spot at times. My key was not at the front desk upon checking in, but a staff member was readily available to assist me. The property is on the older side, which gives it a charming style like in an old movie.

No staff available at checkin take keys with your name on it laid out on desk. Be warned no operating elevator narrow stairwells with inadequate railings if you are elderly or mobility issues Kerig in lobby plenty of coffee but the water dispenser was empty so unable to fill kerig to make coffee

Easy and convenient place to stay in lake placid for a fraction of the price of other hotels. It was nice having dinner without having to leave as an option. Biggest downside was parking…when coming back from dinner elsewhere, the parking lot was full with people dining in at the restaurant. We had to kill time before being able to park even though we were paying to stay there.

80$ CA / la nuit : une belle aubaine
Hotel à distance de marche de la rue principale. Comme nous avons payé 80# canadien/nuit, c'est un excellent rapport qualité/prix. On entend un peu les voisins dans la chambre. Le matelas était neuf et tres confortable (mousse mémoire). En bas de 125$ la nuit, allez-y!

Broken window cracked walls ceilings unsafe door tv remotes didn’t work dirt and trash under and around bed entry light didn’t work dark stairway leading to room definitely not safe for kids

We needed extra towels no one around to get them.. we had a tv in our room that was not even near an out let .. was not even hooked up .. it was also loud in the hotel.. people partying all weekend until 3:00 am .. totally unacceptable!! You really need someone on the property at night .. this was unbelievable we understand people having a good time but when you cannot sleep do to people partying in the lobby and no staff on site to take care of issues. Management needs to be addressed.
