Our ideal location is a 10-minute walk to Olympic Arena, Public Olympic Skating Oval and Inline skating Hockey box, Toboggan Chute, Mirror Lake Beach, Play Park, and Tennis Courts! A few minutes jaunt brings you to Mirror Lake’s seasonal activities of paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, ice-skating, X-Country skiing and dog-sled rides. Stroll into village for shopping, restaurants, bars, Mid’s Park bandshell concert venue, and movie theater. A leisurely walk around Mirror Lake is a favorite of locals and tourists. The Apartment is blocks away from bowling alley, arcade, bike, canoe, kayak, guide services, ski rental shops and Lake Placid motorboat, snowmobile rentals.

The Lake Placid Art Center is also within walking distance. Year round concerts, plays, plays and an ever-changing art gallery are located here! Across the street from LPCA are the Peninsula Nature Trails and Lake Placid dam.

A 15-minute drive will take you to the Olympic Venues of Whiteface Mt, Ski Jumps, Mt. Van Hoevenberg’s Luge, Bobsled, Biathlon, X-Country skiing, snowshoeing, climbing, Cliffside Coaster complex. Location is excellent, far enough from Main Street to be away from the crowds, but an easy walk to the activity. Clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Weekend in Lake Placid

I've stayed in Lake Placid dozens of times and this was by far the best. Not only is it conveniently located close to town but it was the perfect amount of space (not to mention how clean it was!!) for our weekend away. It was exactly as described, free off street parking was a nice bonus!
