Excellent hotel - very newly constructed. Room was well equipped, clean, and modern. Hotel restaurant/bar was very good, with nice menu, prices, and service. Only quibble is that the soundproofing in between rooms was not quite as good as it might have been with a new hotel - the adjacent room had a crying child that we could hear late at night (unlucky for all, including the family).

Needs more soundproofing as we could hear the tv from the room next door at 12:30am and the kids running on the floor above us for 3 hours. Unfortunate that they didn’t install a hot tub as the pool was chilly.

A bit iffy
I was very surprised at the fact that I was put at the very end of an empty hall across from an closed stairwell when I clearly stated I had a 5 year old with me. Incase of emergency what were we suppose to do? I know there were other empty rooms The young man who was the night clerk on Saturday night was so busy playing on his phone.that he couldnt be bothered answering my 2 questions. The Haystack Bistro had excellent food!

Brand new, beautiful hotel. Clean, neat, gorgeous facility and rooms. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful, with the exception of the bar/restaurant staff-- they were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
