Golden nugget is always a great stay. This time we had came in late due to unforeseen circumstances. I called the hotel to let them know but they stated it didn't matter that check in was available at any time. We got to Golden nugget at 1am. (we were just trying to gamble and place bets) they give us a room card. I walk to my room and open the door and there is a man on the bed watching tv. Apparently, they gave my room away to someone else and didn't know. I was told to wait 15 min while our next room was getting cleaned and we would receive a late checkout for free. Okay... an hour and 15 minutes passed before we got our room that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. We were promised a $50 credit to use at a restaurant and charge it back to the room. We went to Saltgrass in the afternoon when we woke up and charged it back to the room. I did not receive my $50 credit. I was charged the entire bill. The manager we spoke to was named Devin.

This trip was great and we enjoyed every bit. The staff are friendly and readily to help. The room was spacious and big. The room was cleaned and properly stocked. I will most definitely be returning.

The room and view was exceptional. The food at the Landry’s restaurant was very delicious. The birthday gesture in the room was a wonderful surprise. A huge thank you to the young man (Butler/Concierge) which made it possible.His name may have been Antonio or something similar. We had an awesome time. We will be back soon.

The room was very nice. I was unable to reach room service. The phone rang and no one answered. I called the front deck to see i could get a couple of wine glasses brought to my room: their response was, we don't do that there are paper cups. Wow! Keep it classy NG.
