We stay at L'Auberge every spring break and usually love it. This trip had good and not so good. The good is the property is very nice and we like the games and proximity to the Golden Nugget. The pool area is beautiful. The room was clean and the hotel always smells so great. We stayed in the garden tower. The not so good is we checked in at 3:30p and our room wasn't ready until after 6:00p. The room looks recently remodeled. The bad is the constantly blinking smoke detector thats so bright you can see through your eyelids and the LOUD doors with 2 inches of daylight underneath. You can't shut the doors quietly. So it sounds like room doors are being slammed all day and night. Based on the decreased comfort of our room during this year's trip, we may stay somewhere else next year.

Lots of slot machines broken, no hot water in room, coffee shop machine was broken so they couldn't make any of their specialty coffees on the menu. The upside of our stay was the staff was friendly and helpful, lastly the food is not worth the price in any of the restaurants, go down the street to each much better foods.

The Staff are GREAT! They just need more help.

The staff is friendly and they are doing the best they can. But they don’t have enough support. •Check In took over an hour. I watched several “managers” walk by and only leave 3 staff to handle the massive line of guests. •Even at 7pm, rooms were not ready for many guests. Luckily, our wonderful clerk found something for us. But our rooms were on different floors. •There is no Buffett, which is why we wanted to stay there. And even amongst the staff, there is miscommunication on dining options. •There is A LOT of walking. So if you have a disabled guest, like we did, you’ll need to make your own accommodations for mobility. •It also took a couple of hours after checkin to get our luggage. Again, not the staff’s fault. They need more. •Valets are GREAT •Servers are GREAT

The room was nice. I didn't get much sleep because of some very noisy occupants in the hallway. One of them was talking very aggressively to another. I gave them some time to settle down before calling the front desk. Security couldn't have come because they left when they were ready only to go next door to a conjoining room. I felt like they were in the room with me. Still waiting to hear from a manager.

The room was very nice once we got in it. Very long line to check in. Obviously this hotel was not prepared for th crowd. It took us until 6 pm to get our room. At one point we were told they had 60 people waiting for their room…..rooms were not cleaned in time of check in. We saw a piece of paper & coke bottle top on the floor for 2 days in the main hallway!!!! It was very disappointing. I think I should have been compensated for the two hours I had to sit with my luggage & not get into my room.
