Wonderfully clean room with nice hotel hospitality touches. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Pool was well mantained and lovely. Breakfast boxes were delivered on time and as ordered. The only encouragement I would give would be to bring back the continental breakfast option in the breazeway with hot foods and fresh items. The boxes seem produce so much waste with everything preserved and packaged. I stayed at Sugar Beach over 20 years ago and it was just as plush as I remembered!

We’ve stayed at Sugar or Grand Beach several times. Room was very clean, staff very helpful and delivered breakfast to room as fine. Only wish that they offered a yogurt option without the cold, boiled eggs!

Upon arrival, a friendly staff member welcomed us and explained the amenities, breakfast options, and where our room was located. I’ve been visiting this property for the past five years, and it always feels like coming home. My son especially loves the pool, jacuzzi, and the amazing 180-degree lake view — it’s our favorite spot in Traverse City.
