I tried to contact the host the day of check in and as of today I still have not had a chat or email with regards to check in. . I finally phoned the number and the algarve dream booking hosts answered and gave me a email link to where to check in. It was quick and when we arrived to our place we had lots of issues to deal with.
1. Broken door on washer
2. Broken toilet seat in upstairs bathroom
3. Burnt out light by bbq grill
4. No pool skimmer to remove leaves
5. No towels
6. No toilet paper
7. Dog poop in yard.
8 over grown weeds 2-3 ft weeds - total neglect
So contacted them at the office they sent over towels and 6 rolls of toilet paper for 6 renters 😳
So the next morning we went back to the office and had our list. The office response was they knew about the washer but were waiting for parts but instead a washer should be replaced in the unit immediately.
Came and fixed toilet but what is wrong with the cleaning staff because if they cleaned it they would have noticed. As well they told us there was no other unit as they were dealing with another issue of bed bugs in a unit 😬
The office blamed the owners and said the yard work was their responsibility the neglect was weeks old not just days. So there is not much communication between the two. Would not recommend until the items are dealt with as the neglect to the property makes u disappointed when u are expecting a luxury villa and it’s far from it.
