Great breakfast and stunning scenery

Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a large property but was not busy during our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable but seemed to be one of the older ones not of the same decor as our friends - just a bit old fashioned but still clean and light. Breakfast was delicious and semi buffet style which was much better as you can order a hot dish and get brought plates of fruit, meat, cheese and pastries too. There’s more food, juices and bread you serve yourself. The location is amazing and what really sets it apart. It’s a short walk to the coast and amazing scenic walks on your door step.

Excellent Resort!!

The Cascades Resort was one the best hotels we have ever stayed, and we have stayed in dozens throughout Europe! The room was great, front desk service excellent, restaurant food and service superb!

Amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us so well, doing everything possible to help us during our stay. We stayed during my girlfriends birthday, and without asking, they delievered a birthday cake and bottle of champagne to our room, without any charge. It made our day. Beautiful rooms, great facilities, amazing breakfast. Thank you so much, we hope to stay again soon!

Perfect New Year break at Cascade. The one bedroom apartment has superb space and caters for all needs. Good sized sunny terrace that could even be used in December! Very clean and superbly located for long walks along the coastline. The only disappointment was the spa and restaurant/bar being closed whilst we stayed there which we were only advised of a few weeks before arriving. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Algarve Stay

We stayed on a lovely apartment. It was need of small maintenance - socket broken, light bulb out etc. Overall it a nice facility with a large gym and location on the bluff.

It was a beautiful and fancy hotel. We went in November, so off season, price was inexpensive. Actually 10 days before getting to this hotel, the price dropped, hubby cancelled and rebooked. We saved $70! It’s situated in a nice and expensive neighborhood, so not much options for food and shopping ☹️ But that okay, we did Uber eats. The main reason to go to this hotel would be the views, the backyard of the hotel is the gorgeous cliffs of the coast of Portugal. Soooo beautiful! We walked along the coast into old town and enjoyed it! I docked service and staff bec we got mixed information from staff about amenities and was in the shower when I believe staff came in. Have no idea why, it was around 7 pm. Hubby had gone to get our Uber eats. Over all, I’d probably stay off season and stay longer. We stayed only one full day bec we have other cities we are getting to explore.
