I had hoped for an authentic stay in Kyoto, but this hotel disappointed. Extremely noisy with motorbikes at night, staff were rude and cold towards my family and I and we did not feel welcomed at all. The staff in the hotel shop followed us around and then checked over all the areas we had looked at, which showed they did not think we'll of foreigners. We had a similar terrible experience at breakfast, we were offered a children's plate etc for my son, then the receptionist came in, spoke to the breakfast staff in Japanese and they took the plate back, even though the children's breakfast was free. Terrible terrible experience, rude and cold staff, overseas visitors do not book!

The hotel is located close to Jujo station which is a quieter area, just 2 metro stops away from Kyoto station. There is bus stop close by the hotel as well. Not many shops or restaurants around the area but I like the tranquility. The room is very spacious by Japanese standard. The public bath is nice and the cost of laundry is very reasonable.

Great hotel close to the main areas of Kyoto. Modern and nice with a large onsen and best of all... parking! It was 1000 yen daily but convenient. The breakfast was abit pricey at 1800 yen daily per person but theres many convenience stores nearby to get a cheap breakfast. Overall great stay

The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet, which made it very easy to fall asleep during the night. The facilities in the hotel are top notch, offering a public onsen and an ice cube making machine. The subway is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Customer service is also very good. There is no room service unless you specifically request it. It is also further away from transport option s, and is quite far from shopping areas.
