We only stayed one night and weren’t able to use the restaurants etc as our main goal was to see the castle and tour surrounding areas.The castle is a short walk away. The hotel was built in 1960 has a vibe of a classic old Japanese hotel. But well maintained. The staff speak minimal English. I liked the room and had a view of the castle. My only complaint was there was no English tv. Not even BBC or CNN news.
