What a wonderful stay we had at portal apartments. Very good location. Accessible. I would like to say that the showers were great but maybe having a wet room would be an upgrade. My mum fell getting into the shower. There is no spa on site as like it states on Expedia but they have people come in for massages reasonable priced too! Lovely little balcony. Breakfast was great those cakes were to die for. Many thanks for a lovely stay. Leanne

The only negative of this hotel was the air conditioning - the system is controlled by the staff and it is shared between rooms. For some reason the staff turn of the air conditioning on our third night and we had to go downstairs at midnight to have them turn it back on.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and offered some great advice when asked about a few of the places I was thinking about visiting. The building sits on a relatively quiet street in the old town, so it is convenient but not as loud as I would imagine other locations might be. The room was clean and spacious but the bed was a little firm for my liking. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and helpful people at the desk and we enjoyed the breakfasts which were different every day. Apartment was beautiful with plenty of storage and we enjoyed the balcony. My only problem, being a short person, was getting in and out of the tub which had very high sides.

Great hotel/apartments in a super location!

Portal House apartments are in a super location only 300 meters from Old Town square literally a three or four minute walk. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Like MANY places in Europe the building has air conditioning but each individual room doesn't control it. Having said that I left yesterday and it was 93 degrees and the room was comfortable better than other places I've stayed as far as room temperature.

Great location

This was our second stay here and it is in a perfect location for enjoying all that Krakow has to offer. It is exceptionally clean both in public areas and in the room. The breakfast is basic but good enough to set you up for a days sightseeing.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Portal House Apartments! It was the perfect location, so close and walkable to so many sights, shops, restaurants and super easy to catch a tram from there to head to other parts of the city. Our room was very spacious and it was nice to have a little balcony! The staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout our four night stay! Would definitely stay again!

super-nice hotel

This hotel is located in the old town, about a 10-minute walk from the central station, making it very convenient. It’s situated in an area with little car traffic, and the room faces a courtyard, so it’s very quiet. The courtyard is lush with trees, providing fresh air and a pleasant atmosphere. The room is extremely clean, with high ceilings that make it feel very comfortable. The shower has good water pressure. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of salads and bread. The staff were very kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. I wish I could stay here for about three months.

We liked the location close to the market square.we enjoyed the breakfast.We liked the room and the en-suite. The main problem we had was the air conditioning was not always on and during the night we had to open the windows even though it was 3.30 in the morning we had noise all night long with people shouting in the street .,We spoke to reception to put on the air conditioning all night but this was not done . So the following evening I spoke to the young lady on the reception and she switched it on in a box outside our room .When it’s been so hot you need the windows open but with the noise outside you can’t . Our room was 7.3 on the fourth floor .There are also a bar opposite the apartment and one each end of the road .Out of the five nights we stayed 3 nights Thursday until Sunday we did not sleep.

Perfect location near the action, but quiet

This was the perfect location for us. Just a few blocks from the bustling old town square, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Staff was exceptionally helpful - giving us tips we didn’t even know we needed and accommodating special requests. Apartment offers more space than a hotel room and is very clean. I liked the nice spread of Polish food offered at breakfast. They had complimentary pieces of Polish chocolate at the front desk, which was a nice touch. Go to Wodka Bar at the corner for a tasting of 6 of their 100+ vodkas. This is a nice home away from home.

It was very close to all amenities. However it was noisey especially when it was warm as no air con in the room so had to leave the windows open. One thing i will say is the shower tray very very slippy i had to put a towel on the base to feel safe in the shower. But great place to stay. Lovely breakfast and they made us something to take out with us when leaving very early. Would definitely recommend or stay again. Staff were lovely.

Fantastic stay

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Room was spacious and furnished top class. We had a seperate bedroom. Lovely kitchenette. High class bathroom. Brilliant location. 5 min to main square, walkable to nany places. Good public transport w min walk. Staff were marvellous. Felt very secure. Breakfast was just yummy. Thankyou. Would stay a million times over, already recommended to my brother.

Fab location just around corner from the main square. We stayed in the top floor apartment which was so spacious and comfortable. We were 3 friends staying together so this was ideal. Lovely breakfast and staff were really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Portal House Apartments was very pleasant and superbly located. Easy to walk in the Old City and easy to get to trams to explore. One star docked for such hard beds! Otherwise the included breakfast was lovely and the accommodations charming.
