Short family mini break

A short family mini break, we had an executive suite which was very spacious and had a separate room with 2 single beds and a lounge area with a sofa bed. There was a small fridge and free to use safe and a very large bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel was a 20 minute walk to the main Market Square and was local to a number of restaurants, supermarkets, pastry shops etc and a small 5 minute walk from the Jewish Quarter. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was very clean. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel

The hotel staff are very helpful, with the rooms being more than adequate (We stayed as a couple & requested a high level room, which we were given on floor 5) The hotel is in a great location that is about 10-15 minute walk from the main square. Food & drink aplenty in the vicinity, both cheap & cheerful, or more up market if you want. Wide choice of food too with traditional polish, Italian, Indian, burgers or steaks all in the Jewish quarter which is literally 5mins from the hotel. Also quite a few supermarkets in the immediate area if you wanted a snack/beer/wine. I have read some previous reviews which commented on the intermittent wi-fi, but that wasn’t my experience as I had uninterrupted wi-fi for the 5 days we were there. All in all, a lovely hotel which I would highly recommend.

Overall the hotel was nice; large room, clean, and comfortable. It should be noted there are no individual room heating controls and, in my opinion, the room was cold at times; however, I did not bring this to the attention of the staff. The rooms are also lacking enough electrical outlets, even for the items already in the room - TV, lamp, and coffee maker. Finally, the rooms aren’t sound proofed so the noise from the street cars is very noticeable. These represent the areas for improvement. On the good side, the building interior is very modern and well maintained, the staff are excellent, and the breakfast is superb. Everything was fresh or real; for example, real scrambled eggs (no powder mix), and the selection was large and impressive. It was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen, anywhere in the world, and I spend about 60 days a year in hotels. Overall, the good outweigh the bad and this hotel is recommended.

Mini break in Krakow

A great hotel very spacious room pleasant and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast choices. The hotel is situated a short walk from Old Town and is close to a number of good restaurants in the Jewish quarter. The hotel is very quiet has air conditioning and tea making facilities. Well located hotel adjacent to Kazmierz. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped with directions to various p;aces in Krakow, and provided good information on the tram and bus lines. A full breakfast buffet is included with eggs, fruit, cheese and meat, and plenty of coffee. It also included items like pickles and olives. I don’t usually eat pickles for breakfast, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. We had a very comfortable stay here.
