Lovely hotel, check in is at the Apple a day resort, didn’t have time to use the facilities there though that’s an option which is nice, pool area looked great. Fantastic room, very clean & new, fridge, kettle etc, great staff, highly recommended

Big rooms and good value for money

Capuchin is a small block of large rooms right on a street just off the main beach road. It doesn't have its own facilities but it is sort of an annex to another hotel right behind it (Apple a Day) which has all the usual facilities, and which you can use. The rooms are a really good size, clean and comfortable and also have a god balcony. Also great value for money. The entrance to the block is just a few steps from the street where there are dozens of restaurants and so on.

Hotel is affordable and clean, room is comfort and big. Staff is friendly as well. The hotel is sharing the facility with Apple A Day Hotel. Daily breakfast at Apple A Day Hotel, and they do have game room there and you may rest there after you check out.

Very nice and clean place. Spacious rooms with balcony. Was a bit concerned about being on the main road but was all good. Reception is in the coffee shop but entrance round the back. A lift would have been nice but was ok. Breakfast restaurant and pool are in the hotel around the back which is the sister property.

Far better quality properties for the price

From: j partytime  The Capuchin Hotel Krabi is a hotel located down a side street near night markets and is so uncomfortable it is impossible to even get a couple of hours sleep here. The beds I like a concrete slab I have never slept on anything so hard in my life. There was no difference lying on the bed to the concrete floor. They did come and put I do not under the sheet which barely made any difference. However I guess I have to praise them for making some effort. The towels in the room are very poor quality and there is a very small wall mounted TV with very poor reception. At times the TV did not work at all. When it rain the TV would usually lose all reception. The wi fi was poor and was very slow. The air conditioning was mediocre and the rooms were so stuffy and hot when I checked in and it took over an hour for the air conditioning to cool it down.  I booked the room for two people they only gave one key which meant if you walked outside to go for a meal or anything the room would get all hot and stuffy again. Then when I asked for a second key card they wanted $200. I said I have booked for two people and they said only one key or pay 200. The shower was not cleaned properly and the shallow pressure was below average and the temperature kept going hot and cold while you were trying to have a shower. Plenty of better properties I wouldn't waste my money here

The place looks really clean. It's similar to the pictures. There's no elevator but it's not much of a hassle with the steps. It's a really great hotel for its price. The beds aren't as comfortable and the towels/sheets aren't in the best condition. Other than that, it's a great deal. The AC worked great! It was really cold in the room and free water (and mini bar) was available everyday. One last downfall--- there is wifi but it's so slow - it's almost non existent.

Got a free upgrade of hotel , great surprise ! Bed was very big & comfortable . Everything was great except there was mosquitoes in the room (quite many thou) just rmb to bring along insect repellent ! The shower also takes some time to adjust

Great place to stay, staff are super friendly and it's very convenient (24/7 family mart just right beside, bike rentals just below) room are very clean and also very comfortable, just that there is no elevator in the hotel but anyways it's just 4 stories no harm walking up!

Amazingly Friendly Staff but Hotel has some issues

We originally booked for 3 nights at the Capuchin hotel. Upon our arrival (after we checked in) we sat down on the bed which was by far the most uncomfortable bed we sat on. Keep in mind this is a month after travelling across all of Indo and Thailand. The bed was SO HARD you would think it was a box spring! We made a complaint to the front desk and they were extremely helpful! They didn’t have any other rooms available in their hotel, so they moved us to their sister hotel “An Apple A Day” Which is right next door. The room they gave us in the new hotel was nicer than the first room, however it had a new bag of issues. First the room smelled of sewage so bad that we had they come up to fix the problem. Their solution was to put a wet towel over the drain in the bathroom. Didn’t Help. Secondly it says they offer “wifi” ~ Don’t expect to get any service when youre up on the 4th or 5th floor. The wifi works great in the lobby but thats about it. Third, Their idea of “satellite TV” is a faux. You will receive 20 (VERY STATIC) Channels of which non are english speaking. Its probably best they leave this off their website, because it couldn’t be any further from the truth. Fourth, Don’t bother eating at their restaurant. Their food is mediocre at best. I order the chicken satay that came to me absolutely cold, informed the waitress, 10 minutes later they bring me back the exact same order, just a little warmer. The food is not cooked fresh nor is it even cooked there!

This hotel is definitely value for money! Great service,reasonably good breakfast, and nice room! But wifi was often very weak in the room and if you stay on the lower floors, you can hear noisy sounds from the bathrooms above. But overall very good:)

Good Location, Good Hotel

The front desk are nice, lobby area are nice n chic. Everytime we enter the hotel, we were warmly greeted. Room condition is ok, the interior design is questionable. Cable TV is ok with some english channels. Window size could be bigger, to make the room more pleasant. Breakfast at the rooftop was nice, with some good food, but not special. The front staff, which name is Wow, were very kind, and also arranged out taxi to the airport with good price.

No elevator!!

The hotel is clean, but there isn't any elevator. Stay on the higher 4th Flr. Request to be transfer to lower flr, but fully occupied. No good for old folk to climb the stair. Mini bar is free. Need to request 2nd Flr. Mini mart 24hr below the hotel. Halal food easy to find.

Location was superb 10/10 Massage everywhere ,eateries just opp hotel, family mart just few steps away Tourservices is just at ur doorstep!! Cleanliness7/10 Overall not bad except the toilet, feel like a rush job Condition10/10 Room was quite new and comfy One thing to improve is the pillow, too thin.
