The whole premises needs an upgrade. This was my second stay at Hideaway and 2nd time we had no water. *On this instance for some 10 hours. *We could not be checked out - their computer system was down.

Nice waterfront resort, rooms appears ok and resort style. They had issue with main water line after a heavy rain which left us without water for more than 15 hours!. Staff were helpful and welcoming even during water supply issues however, restaurant staff forgets to put order into the System and you wait hour without food until you enquire! This happened twice both in main and Japanese restaurant during dinner times. Suggest to give restaurant staff electronic devices for taking order. Overall good stay.

It is with heavy heart i leave 'Home'... aka Hideaway Resort and Spa in Coral Coast. From the moment,we arrived we were welcomed by the Porters... 'welcome Home'... and this phrase is used from Reception staff and Restaurant/Bar staff... Little they knew i lost my father 3 weeks ago and that by welcoming home, they touched my soul. We have stayed a numerous hotels in Fiji and some 5stars, however the hospitality we received here at Hideaway Resort and Spa was beyond the expectations. Kini, Miri, Tash, Peni, Taniela, Naomi, Amani, Sitari , Vala George... just to name a few were incredible humans. They made us feel at home, they left no stone unturned to make our family holiday one to remember for a life time.Accommodation was comfortable big rooms four us, 2 adults and 2 kids age 12 and 15. Daily room clean... thanks Miri you are a star. Clean beach and pool. Lots of activities organised by Activities Team, Thanks George you are one very talented person.Daily activities filled our days with excitement and we learnt how to cook chicken curry, tie a Sulu, tried roasted coconut, participated in games which had a price of free coffee, lucky me I love coffee. We had aqua dance, dinner shows and fire dance shows. Boat Fishing trip was easy to book via the activities teams, thanks Kini and Dan, you are both super stars.Taniela who sang us beautiful songs near the beach. The property's general condition was suffering from a lack of investment. It would appear there have been very little modernization since opening which must have been at least 25 years ago. The staff did a great job with their enthusiasm but it only goes so far.

The room was a bit run down but clean with ok aircon. Staff were great but a few were very poor, especially a young guy who cleaned the pool on the Saturday, he was very rude. Also they had ridiculous crimes in place regarding loaning fins to snorkel, in the end I went out and bought my own.

The normal beach Bure rooms need some cleaning / renovation. We upgraded after our first night to a Deluxe room which was better. Staff overall is always friendly but room service / cleaning was a bit of hit and miss. Pool staff was often not there so you had to find someone to get a pool towel. We did not try the hotel food, but no one seemed to go to dinner there as it was empty when we checked. We booked a few trips and few important details about trips and times were inconsistent/wrong which questioned why we booked through them. Overall I would stay somewhere else but its okey if you just use it as base and go outside for day trips. TLDR - go somewhere else, basic does the job hotel, needs serious renovation

I read some bad reviews before coming here and i was in two minds , well i think some people have nothing better to do but complain, the staff are amazing happy helpful and a delight to be around .Room is clean and tidy breakfast was perfect fresh fruits ceral , breads pastries, cooked fresh pancakes, bacon , sausages, eggs i could go on but what more do you want love this place love the peopl e don't let bad reviews put you off and i have traveled all over the world and would definitely come back Bula Vinaka or in my language ngā mihi .dont

What made our stay was the friendly staff! We had lovely staff that were wanting to interact with the guest, a full day of scheduled activities to join in on and a fun environment. The rooms were nice and clean and the beach was great to swim at at high tide.

Beautiful views, cozy bed and very friendly staff. Food was pretty expensive for what you get and the choices were pretty limited. For example the curry of the day is basically the same curry base with different meat so it gets a little repetitive. Overall decent place.

All meals superb most staff members super friendly some days happy hour was not good , one tender trying their best to cope with onslaught of demand . I was upgraded from garden view to ocean view because of neighbours from hell !!! So instead of management confronting these troublemakers they moved me to another Bure , overall worth the 95 minutes shuttle time from Nadi Airport
