Lovely short break with my daughter & granddaughter. Hotel is lovely the girls enjoyed the pool. The restaurant service was great - thank you Helen. Food was delicious. Only issue was the fact that the junior suite only had one bed made up for 3 of us. Quickly remedied but bed settee was not comfy and was noisy.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Hotel has been completely renovated since our last visit and it is excellent. Comfortable, very clean and staff attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Stay was quiet and room was comfortable. Had a great location in the Hotel with balcony overlooking the 18th green. Restaurant’s food was great and the breakfasts had lots of variety. They did seem short on staff which lead to long waits, especially in the bar area. Unless you are a golfer, there is very little to do in the town of Carnoustie.

Nice hotel, but needs some modernisation

Friendly and helpful staff, and the Junior Suite room was very spacious and clean. The room, although apparently recently renovated, is rather dated. The bathroom has space for a separate shower, yet the shower is in the bath tub, and the tiny old-style wash basin really needs to be modernised. The biggest issue is the noise isolation from the wind. Carnoustie is a windy place, and the windows must have gaps that create a constant howl in the room.
