Pretty sure our room had fleas killed a few on my husband’s leg. Very run down garbages full around the property. Dirty pool, they boast a gym and athletic room which was under renovation so false advertising as it’s none operational and you must pay to use. Also our fridge in our room was broken and leaking water, and the water flow throughout the room toilet bowl was so low we couldn’t flush. Very disappointing stay, will not be back.

This property is poorly maintained. We found a pill in the bed, and couldn't sleep because the lighting outside of the room was so bright that the curtains could not properly work. There was mold in the shower and it looked overall like it had not been cared for over the years.

The property location was good and hotel looked decent from outside. However,as soon as you enter the hotel lobby for check-in, there is a weird smell like chlorine water. Then after heading to room, the room looks decent. However no vaccum to the sofa and Bathtoom has a lot of issues like flushing was not working the nob was broken sometimes it worked and some times it didn't. And so does the sink was not able to drain water. And breakfast options are okay ..

Poor hotel with a smell

Friendly welcome and good location, but the hotel is dirty and poorly maintained. The pool has a robot that is there when there are tourists. Breakfast is very small with no real choice, and there are boxes and trash cans next to where you eat. The smell is horrible, the refrigerator is dirty and makes a noise that makes it impossible to sleep, not to mention the air conditioning that hums. The smell of tobacco is everywhere, really unpleasant and disappointing to have paid so much for this service.

My wife and I have been going for years to this particular hotel. The last 3 times we have gone there have been issues with the rooms we've booked. There have been issues with key cards not working and us locked outside, we've been moved to different rooms because their tubs dont work properly, we spent 2 days without any hot water and only got comped half of the cost of a single day when we only ever book here specifically for the ensuite jacuzzi. The bathroom floors are broken and spongy from water damage, the showers are falling apart, there are missing knobs for jacuzzi timers, air intakes for jacuzzis, fan timers in the bathrooms, and even plugs for the bath tubs. We've been to this motel so many times that we've seen many different rooms and they are all in horrible shape in one way or another. The motel is old and dirty with mold in the walls in the hallways, the ice machine is gross and smells of mold, and the compensation for inconvenience is laughable. We said we'd never go back after the last time we went and had no hot water for 2 days but decided to give them another shot and we were left disappointed once again after this last trip. They need to renovate and fix quite a few things around the motel. Its gone downhill fast since it became a super 8. I can safely say that after going here several times a year for the last 7 years, we will never be going back.

An old building in desperate need of upgrading. The finish on the tub was peeling. The radiator in the bathroom was rusty. The property was not kept up. Grass wasn't cut. Won't stay again.

Good value

We stayed for 3 days arriving on Monday and leaving on Wednesday morning. Anyone we met was very helpful. The one thing that we did notice was the steps leading upstairs to the rooms could have been swept off and some of the stones were loose or even missing. The pool was closed (not that we use a pool) some of the time. But the breakfast was good and our room was good with the mini fridge etc. We would stay there again if we come to Gananoque.
