The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and always happy to have a chat when we were coming and going. Plenty of parking, room is a bit outdated if I was being ultra-critical but for the value of our stay it was a great value for money. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The rooms were spotless, the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the pub behind the lodge. (The Indian restaurant staff was very friendly as well, but it was Valentine's Day and we had not made a reservation, so we went to the pub.) We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there! Then we returned to the lodge for a good night's sleep. We were warm and comfortable.
